Teacher’s Day Celebrations
The students of Grade XI and XII at Salwan Public School organised a heartfelt Teachers’ Day Celebration on 4th September 2025 in the school auditorium, offering a perfect blend of gratitude and creativity. The program began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and a floral accord presented to the Principal, Director of the School, and Vice-Principal, setting a tone of reverence and warmth. The stage then came alive with a captivating lineup of performances — a soulful musical medley, an evocative poetry recitation, a vibrant folk dance with live singing, a light-hearted comedy inspired by The Kapil Sharma Show, and an energetic dance mashup.
The skit O Captain My Captain proved to be the soul of the celebration, moving the audience with its message that teachers are not merely instructors but guiding captains who steer their students through life’s journey with wisdom and compassion. A fun-filled guessing game designed especially for teachers added laughter and warmth to the occasion.
The celebration concluded with the felicitation of teachers and inspiring words from the Heads of Departments, making the day not just an event but a memory etched in hearts as a timeless tribute to the anchors of wisdom who shape futures with love and light.
