POCSO Awareness Session for Non-Teaching Staff

On 11th August 2025, an awareness session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was conducted by Advocate Ms. Jahnvi for the non-teaching staff of Salwan Public School, Gurugram. A total of 117 participants, including MTS staff members, agency staff, bus drivers, and conductors, attended the session. The workshop highlighted key provisions of the POCSO and Juvenile Justice Acts, legal responsibilities of staff, appropriate conduct with children, and practical safeguards in daily interactions. Through the screening of Komal, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants learned how to identify signs of abuse, respond sensitively, and uphold their legal duty in ensuring child safety.
