School’s NCC Cadets and Band Team Shine at 79th Independence Day

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of India, a delegation from Salwan Public School, Gurugram, enthusiastically participated in the grand celebrations organized at Government Model Sanskriti Sr. Sec. School, Sector-43, Gurugram, on 15th August 2025.
The school contingent, comprising NCC cadets and band members, reached the venue at around 8:30 AM, fully prepared for their parade presentation accompanied by the school band. The event was graced by Shri Laxman Singh Yadav, Hon’ble MLA of Rewari, Haryana, as the chief guest. Several schools from the region took part in the celebration, showcasing their patriotic spirit.
The programme began with the inspection of all participating contingents by the chief guest, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem. A synchronized march past by the Haryana Police and NCC cadets from various schools was conducted to the stirring tunes of the Salwan Public School Band.
In his address, the chief guest praised the efforts and performances of all schools, inspiring the audience with his words. As a gesture of appreciation, trophies were awarded to all participating schools. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and group photographs with the chief guest, leaving everyone with a deep sense of unity, patriotism, and pride.
