NCC Annual Training Camp (ATC) – 168

Salwan Public School, Gurugram proudly participated in the NCC Annual Training Camp (ATC) – 168, organised by the 5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram, at Hari Mandir Ashram, Pataudi, from 3 June to 12 June 2026. A contingent of 19 NCC cadets represented the school under the guidance of Associate NCC Officer S/O Vishal Kaushik. The camp brought together cadets from various educational institutions, providing a valuable platform for leadership development, discipline, teamwork, and personality enhancement.
Throughout the camp, cadets actively participated in a wide range of training sessions, including physical training, yoga, weapon handling, live firing practice, disaster management, firefighting demonstrations, map reading, cyber security awareness, and leadership development activities. Expert-led sessions on national security, career opportunities in the Armed Forces, environmental conservation, and civic responsibility enriched the learning experience and broadened the cadets’ perspectives.
The camp also featured various competitions, cultural programmes, and team-building activities that encouraged confidence, communication skills, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Through practical exposure and interactive learning experiences, the cadets developed resilience, self-discipline, and a deeper sense of responsibility towards society and the nation. It was a matter of immense pride for the school that Cadet Jyotika Yadav secured the Second Position Overall in the NCC ‘A’ Certificate Examination (Session 2025–26) conducted by the Battalion. Her outstanding achievement reflects dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Bringing laurels to the institution, she emerged among the top-performing cadets of the Battalion and became a source of inspiration for her fellow NCC cadets. The ten-day camp proved to be a transformative and enriching experience, equipping cadets with valuable life skills while reinforcing the core NCC values of discipline, leadership, service, and patriotism.
