Playtopia 2026 – Junior Athletics Meet

Salwan Public School, Gurugram, organised its Junior Athletics Meet, Playtopia 2026, on 22 February 2026 for students from Montessori to Grade II, celebrating fitness, coordination, and joyful learning. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic development through structured physical activities and experiential education. The programme commenced with the serene invocation “Beat and Breathe,” setting a calm and reflective tone for the day. This was followed by the Welcome Note delivered by the Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Malik, who formally declared the meet open and highlighted the vital role of sports in fostering confidence, discipline, and teamwork among students.
A spectacular and well-synchronised March Past added grandeur to the occasion. The ceremony was reviewed by Director Major General Surinder Singh, AVSM, SM, VSM. The torch-lighting and oath-taking ceremony further elevated the spirit of sportsmanship. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the parents for their wards’ enthusiastic participation and encouraged the learners to value participation and perseverance above the pursuit of victory alone. Students participated in a variety of fun-filled races, including Bunny Hop, Sack Race, Swiss Ball, Ice Cream Cone, Pack Your Bag, and Hula Hoop, designed to develop agility, balance, and motor skills. The Wake Up and Wiggle Drill, synchronised Clap Drill, and an energetic Taekwondo presentation were key attractions. The colourful musical finale added a festive touch, while the prize distribution celebrated effort and participation. The event concluded with the National Anthem and a lively Zumba session for parents. Playtopia 2026 beautifully showcased the spirit of sportsmanship and the school’s vision of nurturing confident, active learners from the foundational years.
