Hawan on Session Commencement 2026–27

Salwan Public School, Gurugram marked the commencement of the Academic Session 2026–27 with a solemn Havan Ceremony held on 1 April 2026 at the E Block Stilt Area. The ceremony began with a warm welcome by Council President Ekagra Agarwal in the gracious presence of Chairman Dr. Prasad Medury, distinguished guest Mr. Sunil Jindal, a noted social worker, respected members of the Managing Committee, Director Sir, Principal Ma’am, and other dignitaries. A floral tribute was offered to the revered Founder Chairman Late Shri Girdhari Lal Salwan Ji and Chairman Emeritus Late Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire the Salwan fraternity. The sacred Havan, performed with traditional rituals and chants, created an atmosphere of peace and positivity as prayers were offered for a successful academic year.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Dr. Prasad Medury encouraged students to pursue knowledge with dedication, discipline, and strong values. The distinguished guest, Mr. Sunil Jindal, also motivated students to strive for excellence and contribute positively to society. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Student Vice President Shambhavi Kaushal.

A similar Havan Ceremony was also conducted at Salwan Public School, DLF Gurugram, where the Headmistress, Ms. Neetu Katyal, along with the teachers of the Gurugram branch, participated in the sacred rituals and offered prayers for a prosperous and successful academic session ahead. An orientation session for the new students was later conducted in the C Block Auditorium by the Student Council members, who introduced them to the school’s ethos and systems. The students were also taken on a guided school tour, where they were familiarized with the campus facilities and important areas of the school. The day concluded on a hopeful and inspiring note, setting the tone for a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful achievements.
